Family History Tiles
This project showcases a variety of vibrant ceramic tiles with hand appliqued illustrations from the artist's family history. Exploring the disconnect between the heaviness of abuse and the heaviness between the ceramic tiles, the goal of this work was to create a quilt of tiles representing the artist's relationship to her familial history.
